Introduction: What is the My Lead System Pro?

MLSP started in 2008 claiming that they are the world’s solution for home business success. They offer training to market your business and they put a huge focus on social media and also attraction marketing. This is very simply put that if you believe it will happen, it will happen so you just have to change your mindset!

What is the My Lead System Pro

This is all very well and lovely to get motivated but let’s get back to reality. A business takes hard work, dedication and time to build. Priming your mind to just believing success will jump into your life won’t cut it.

However I also do believe that a person’s mindset does have a lot to do with success.

MLM My Lead System Pro?

Something that is not made very clear on their website when I first had a look is that they are an MLM company (Multi Level Marketing) which I am really not very fond of at all. I first noticed it in the website address bar of their website MLM My Lead System Pro.

My first reaction was oh no, this has to be a scam! Most MLM companies I come cross have a product that is often so bad it can’t be called a product! This “product” is then very badly overpriced. The focus of the company is usually only to get people to recruit people and not focused on training anyone to sell the actual products.

So let’s have a closer look at this company, the owners and what they have to offer.

I went and stalked the owners a little bit and I’ll be honest here, they look to me like honest and nice people to me.

Who is Brian Fanale?

Brian Fanale is the SEO and Co-Founder of MLSP.

Brian appears to be the main owner in the spotlight, he has earned himself the nickname Internet Rockstar. He has been working online since 2005.

Who is Brian Fanale

Who is Norbert Orlewicz

Norbert Orlewicz is one of the Co-Founders of MLSP.

Norbert is an expert in all aspects of online marketing and funnels.

Who is Norbert Orlewicz

Who is Todd Schlomer

Todd Schlomer is the Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder of MLSP.

Todd is the technical guy. He started with programming in 1993 and gained vast experience developing software as well as developing products and marketing them online.

Pros and Cons

Pros

  • Loads of training available, a lot of which is great training you will be hard to come by in other programs
  • Updated training
  • Weekly Webinars
  • Custom site creator
  • Hosting is provided
  • Facebook Fan pages templates
  • Custom Autoresponder
  • 1 month risk free trial
  • Contests that keep members motivated and recognize hard workers

Cons

Who is My Lead System Pro for?

They market this system as being for anyone and everyone. However the price of this program knocks out a lot of people that want to start their own business.

They also state on their website that you have to have your own product to market which means you can’t be a complete newbie! There is also a lot of information to go through. I would say that this would only be suitable for someone with a little bit of previous experience with online marketing.

Training

There is a lot of training available via webinars and video presentations. There are also great tools such as autoresponders, Facebook page templates and a marketing schedule.

Support

There is a lot of focus on support, not only from MLSP but also within the community. They also have a strong social media presence and can be contacted and will respond via social media.

Pricing

Ok so here is where I believe My Lead System Pro really falls short, their prices are way too much!

MLSP University is $49.95/ month

MLSP Mastery is $149.95/ month

I’m sorry but I just feel this is too much for what is being offered here.

Do you want to try my #1 Recommendation for free?

Is My Lead System Pro a Scam?

I’ll be honest here, I am not ready to label this program a scam. Yes they have some negatives but that does not mean they are a scam!

My Verdict for My Lead System Pro

So here we go, I really am sitting on the fence with this program in a lot of ways and I will show you why.

Some of their training is really awesome and can’t be found just anywhere, however some of their training is outdated.

They only offer a “risk-free” trial, this sounds like a cop-out to me really. If you have a great product and you know it, well then offer a free trial and let the product sell itself. Personally I don’t want to spend a load of money to see if what is promised to me is true. If it is true and I will love it, let me see it and I will buy it!

Sorry but promising to give my money back if I decide I don’t like it won’t make me feel any better and won’t get me to try it.

I don’t like the MLM side of it, they say they offer affiliate commissions but I have to be a paying member to market their product. This is not affiliate to me, this is MLM. I don’t want to have to pay to earn affiliate commissions. I don’t care how great your product is, I just won’t do it. That is my policy.

What I do love is the energy of the owners and their presence on social media. They truly come across to me as people that care, that interact with their fans and that want to help people make some money. Hey I would be wrong here, but this is just what has come through to me. Either that or damn they are good scam artists!

What I would really love is a free trial so I can have a look inside and really make an educated decision, but like I have said over and over again I am in this for making money, NOT spending it. I am not willing to risk money to make it. I am perfectly happy to sit and make money without taking a risk like this.

What I would also love is some feeback from you, my readers. What do YOU think Have you tried MLSP and what was your experience? Please leave a comment because for some reason I would like to give these guys more of a thumbs up!

Are you tired of scams or working online for pennies? Check out my #1 Recommendation!

  1. Hello Lynne, thank you for a great review. I had never heard of MLSP until now but you have indeed looked at the company from different angles and came out with a fair and balanced review for anyone to make a decision. As for me, I just don’t like the idea of MLM and what you said about being a paying member to promote a product is absolutely right. This not affiliate marketimg, but an MLM. This is not my kind of thing.
Thanks again for the heads up.
    Cheers
    Yared.

    • Hi Jared, thanks for sharing your opinion. Yeah we see things the same way. It is not for me, but I am still not sure if this is an actual scam. My gut feel says its not.

  2. Hi Lynne,
Thanks for sharing this information with us about My Leads System. I have noticed that you recommend Wealthy Affiliate. Do you have to be a paid member of WA to promote their product?

I would really like to know your answer to this one. They seem like a great place to be.

    • Hi Peter, it is a pleasure. To answer your query, nope you don’t have to pay anything to be an affiliate for Wealthy Affiliate, just sign up for the Starter Membership and grab your affiliate link. You can stay a free Starter member for as long as you like. There is no pressure to upgrade and there are no upsells.

  3. It has become very hard nowadays to get to differentiate what is a scam from the genuine online internet marketers. This is because each and every one of them sounds so sweet to be true.I still insist on this, before investing a lot on scam marketing,it is good to first gather some clear information on all what it is about.Thank you Lynne for the information.

    • Thanks for visiting and sharing your opinion 🙂 Yes I think it can be daunting sometimes to find out the truth, especially since there is so much misinformation online.

I hesitate to brand something a scam I am not 100% sure!

  4. I had heard of this lot before and I was hoping they had something new to offer…seems like I was very wrong. It’s a crying shame to find out they are based on expensive advertising ( I hate PPC because I can’t normally afford it lol ). It’s setup seems really professional but that’s were these types of offers make their money really isnt it?

    • Hi Chris, yes that is what concerns me too. A lovely professional website does not equal value for money now does it? From what I can gather some of their training really is great but I am also after the more long term results that I can do myself without paying money. I am not very interested in paid advertising, I am more interested in how I can gain organic traffic.

  5. Thanks Lynne for yet another fabulous article.

First of all I love your honesty. If you can’t label something to be 100% legit or 100% scam then you make that clear. Thanks!

Unfortunately it is getting harder and harder to separate the scams from the real deal. People are becoming very clever at making you believe they have what you are looking for. Doing a thorough research is becoming more and more important.

After reading your reading review of MSLP, I would also like to believe they are legit and not simply trying to take people money. I think it would be superb to hear from someone who actually signed up and gave it a try. Sadly it is just too much money for me to take the risk. I also agree that MLM side of it really is a bummer.

Hopefully you can gain some more insight into this company. It would be great to see if they really do deliver and are worth the money they are asking for. Thanks Again!

    • Hi Melody, thanks for visiting and sharing your opinion. Yeah what makes me want to believe they are legit is that they have such good social media presence and I can see comments on their Facebook page from their members. They all seem very happy, upbeat and motivated. I just can’t quite label them either way, which I find very frustrating. I hope some MLSP members come and share their personal experiences here so we can have an unbiased view.

  6. Hi Lynne,
When it comes to earning a living online, I stay away from MLM companies as much as possible. Personally, I like the model of affiliate marketing where I make passive income over and over again.

I just never like the idea of “pressuring” someone into buying a product just so that I can earn from them, and in some cases the people who are a part of any MLM scheme even pressure mom, dad, uncle and their siblings to join. That is just not ethical for anyone to live their lives.

With affiliate marketing it is just the right thing to do, you review products that you like and recommend them to others and then get paid commissions.

Companies like MLSP just does not get any ratings in my book.

Thanks for a most in-depth review of their system.

    ~Jason.

    • Hi Jason, yes you are so right! I am embarrassed to admit I got involved with Amway when I was in my early twenties and the way they try and make you force everyone and anyone you know into joining is just disgusting. From that experience I have a very bad taste in my mouth when I find something is MLM.

  7. Hi Lynne, Based on the feelings I get from your review, this sounds like a program that could work for some, but like you said, not a newbie. I would be willing to bet a lot of “hopeful” people put their money into this hoping for the best, but then finding it a bit overwhelming. And the fact that they have loads of upsells, ugh…..very annoying. Thank you for your wonderful review!

    • Hi Carol, I am glad you enjoyed the review. Yes I really think one must be careful when looking at joining MLSP, I don’t feel it is for everyone.

  8. hi Lynne
Hmmmm I am on the fence too with this one. On one hand, My Leads System does seem like a legitimate business and the owners do seem knowledgeable and competent. However, I am also not a fan of MLMs. It is typically really hard to make money if you are not on top and I am just not a fan of recruiting (by bothering them) people. And the prices are too high. As I am guessing you are not getting the necessary training you need to truly make money with the 49$/month version. And there is no way that I would spend 149$ a month!

    • Hi Emily, you have made a really good point there! The $49 training is obviously not sufficient and like you I will never spend $149 a month for something like this. It is grossly overpriced. I mean if you look at my #1 Recommendation they offer 2 free websites, free hosting, a free getting started training course which has 10 lessons and 7 days of awesome support, live chat with the community and much more! Their Premium membership offers so much training I doubt you will ever even get through it because there is new training added regularly, this is for $47 per month. I’m not quite sure how MLSP can quite compete with that, and to charge so much…

  9. Thanks for the review of MLSP. I have never previously heard of this company. There are so many products out there online. It is probably not a good idea to say it is a scam unless you are sure. I can see how you are on the fence with this one. Information changes so fast. If the updated their outdated information, then would you recommend this product?

    • Hi Kristie, perhaps I would but I really can’t be sure. What I would really like is to have a free trial to check it out for myself and see the training for myself. Unfortunately this review is based only on research I have done, not on my personal experience which is how I like to do my reviews! If I could have a look inside I will be much more comfortable giving it a concrete rating.

  10. Hello Lynne

I agree My Lead System is one to stay away from

I myself applied to this program and everything was fine until you had almost completed the sign up process then you where asked for a sign up fee which you would not get back.

It seemed this was money you had to pay for the privilege if promoting this company’s product so as I said I agree with you in that affiliates should never ever have to pay for promoting a product or service.

I wish you well in your endeavours.

    Have a nice day.

    Robert Allan

    • Hi Robert

Great to hear from someone that has personally tried MLSP, but I am so sorry to hear that you had a bad experience.

  11. Hi,

You have enlighten me about MLSP well. Kudos to you! I personally don’t like it, like MLSP and other sites like them run this business. It is good you rated them 30/100. They are only good when one is having some loads of money saved to try things out.

I believe if they will review their prices it will serve them and us very well.

    Cheers
    Daniel

    • Hi Daniel

Thanks for visiting, yes I agree with you, My Leads Systems Pro is way too pricey! I am not fond of MLM anyway so this would never appeal to me!

  12. Hi there Lynne! I’ve just been reading through your review for “My Leads System Pro” and thought I would just offer my thoughts.

I really appreciate the effort that you have gone to here, this is a very detailed review. With regards to the product itself, this is really expensive. If I were to pay those sorts of prices I would expect everything to be absolutely spot on. However, that’s clearly not the case. Just by having out-dated information in a membership site that is this expensive says quite a lot. I’m sure that some of the training is very good and there might be some things that you can’t get anywhere else. But at the end of the day can you get the same results without this service and without spending that sort of money? I think you probably can.

I have recently seen a few training sites that have concentrated some of their training on attraction marketing. It seems to be quite a trendy concept at the moment. I am open to the idea too, however I agree with you that you get nothing without hard work.

The MLM aspect of this system is enough for me to write this off. This is definitely not for me. I think I will stick with your top recommendation!

    Thanks for the great review,

    Andrew

    • Hi Andrew

I couldn’t agree with you more, as soon as I see MLM I am already not interested. Yes I am sure that each training program offers something unique that another one doesn’t, sure. However a price like that is just crazy. I won’t be spending that amount.

You know I love the idea of attraction marketing. I do believe that if you have a positive attitude it goes a long way when it comes to business. Mix that in with a shitload of hard work and you will be a force to be reckoned with!
