 Introduction
I Say surveys is an online survey company that allows you to take surveys in exchange for points. These points can be cashed out in the way of gift cards or cash via Paypal. You can also donate your earnings to an approved charity.
I really like to check out something personally so when I tried to register and was told that they are currently not recruiting I was very disappointed! I tried again a few days later and got the same message. The big disappointment that came in is that I have struggled to find honest and legitimate survey companies and from I what I have read online this appears to be one that is the real deal.
I had a quick look around their website and what I really liked is that they don’t make insane promises about making you rich overnight. Lots of survey companies do this claiming you can make $3500 per month just for filling in surveys. According to my research this is impossible. Just the fact that a survey company claims this in the first place is enough for me to want to label them a scam.
They are honest and real about earning potential. They tell you straight that you cannot make a living from it, this is purely a little extra you can earn.
In order to cash out a gift card or via Paypal you need to have 1000 points and the value of 1000 points is $10. According to the information above you if you get 4 surveys in a month you can earn anything from 20 – 1000 points. So the maximum earning potential in a month is $10.
Yes it is not a lot of money, but this is the reality of doing surveys for cash. You will never earn more than this in a month doing surveys anyway, no matter what a survey company claims on their website.
As mentioned I was not able to actually test I Say surveys myself as much as I would have like to, so I can only base my opinion further on what I have managed to research online.
The opinion online is that I Say surveys is a legitimate and honest survey company. However they appear to have deteriorated in recent years. They were previously Ipsos and then changed their name to I Say, at the time of this change it appears their reputation has gone down.
Members claim the website is slow to load and less surveys are being sent out. Some members appear to have lost their points during the change and often I Say has been slow to respond to queries from members. This said there has also been a lot of positive feedback too.
It appears to me that although they are a legitimate company their standards appear to have dropped from what they previously had. It also appears their service is sometimes good and at other times bad. There is no consistency.

Verdict
I believe this to be an honest and legitimate company that is currently having issues keeping up their service levels. They really need to up their game in this regard and be consistent. I certainly wouldn’t give up my day job for $10 a month maximum earning potential.
I do appreciate that they do not make false earning claims unlike the majority of survey companies I have come across.
If you manage to register (unlike me) and receive the better service some members appear to receive I think this is a nice way to make some extra pocket money.

Thank you so much for this article. I myself have done research into the online surveying industry and all you usually find is scam after scam after scam.
$10.00 a month, hey? That’s a little gas money, but I am concerned about people losing the points that they’ve accumulated for no reason. I do a little bit more research into them, thank you for the research!
Yeah $10 a month is not exactly what my idea of coining it is! I would also not be very impressed if points that I worked so hard and long for disappeared!
Are pyramid schemes or MLM all that bad? I ask because I personally know a former classmate from high school who is currently making 6 figures from an MLM business. I have read even in one of the Rich Dad, Poor Dad books where participating in an MLM was a good way to experience sales/marketing techniques. It was encouraged that you can always learn from joining business ventures as such. I see you promote Wealthy Affiliate on your site and wondered what encouraged you to choose that type of business opportunity as opposed to a pyramid or MLM? I completely understand and agree with not joining anything that will not tell you upfront what you are signing up for while claiming to make life so much better with quality time and riches. But how? I don’t like those either. But what assures me is when I have living proof or at least a good explanation as to what I’m getting myself into! So just in case I confused you, why did you choose WA as opposed to a pyramid or MLM opportunity instead?

Thanks for visiting. I am just not into trying to get people to join things so I can make money from their sales and so forth. I want a real business where I can choose exactly what I want to promote and how. Wealthy Affiliates gives me the freedom to do this.
I can choose any product I want, any topic/ niche I like and dictate how I do business. I am sure there are lots of people that have made money with MLM and pyramid schemes but it is not for me at all. The big guys at the top coin it and the little guys at the bottom don’t. I like to promote things I am proud of and believe really work.

Well 35 out of 100 seems pretty low for a survey site that you say is legit – what is the main reason you were turned off it so much? I realize that surveys are not the most lucrative in the internet earn online business – is that why you voted it so low? Thanks for introducing me to this bunch – had not heard of them before 🙂

Thanks for the feedback. I base my reviews on can I make money from this, as in make a living and quit my full time job. Even perhaps combine a few online opportunities to make a living. Can I call this a career? Certainly not in my opinion. Even for part time work I doubt this will cover much more than the odd can of Coke.
So yes I vote things low if it is not something that can make a substantial difference to my financial situation.

Thanks for the very honest review of this online survey company. I’ve looked in the past for good survey companies and it’s hard to tell which ones are worth the time for signing up and waiting for surveys. Plus, there are so many scams out there that after a day I gave up! 1000 survey points to earn a value of $10 in one month is not my cup of tea, either.

Hey this is a great website with a good mission. There’s a lot of scams out there and people should be aware of which ones are and aren’t.
I usually try to stay away from surveys because they take so long and pay so little. I don’t really think 10 dollars a month is worth it, unless it can be done very quickly.
