When you work from home, lists are your very best friend. On Monday morning, make a master plan for the week. Write down your goals for the week, a list of all of the things that you need to get done or want to achieve. Then, each day write down a list of all of the jobs that you need to do to help you meet your goals. This should include everything from sorting out your insurance with commercial insurance to sending invoices and filling expense receipts.

Then, tick things off when you’ve done them. This tiny act can boost your mood and keep you going as the day goes on. When you start to get tired, seeing a significantly shorter list can be all it takes to keep you going.




Set Challenges

One thing that can be tough when you work from home is being alone. When you’ve got no one to talk to work can seem daunting. This can lead to you drifting off and finding distractions. Set yourself smaller goals and challenges to keep you going. Then, reward yourself when you meet them. Let yourself have a snack or check your social media feeds. These challenges could be small things like racing the washing machine or finishing a task before lunch.

Some of us are morning people, some of us aren’t. The beauty of working from home is that you can work when you want to. So, work when you are at your best.
