Ghostwriters: An Essential Part Of Your Online Marketing Strategy

Customers today are becoming more inclined to skip the lines in stores and shop conveniently online. If you’re a small business owner, having a ghostwriter handle the task of researching and writing custom and useful information about your company online can pay big dividends at the end of the fiscal year.

Ghostwriters - an essential part to your online marketing strategy

Here’s why:

Online Marketing Expertise

An internet-savvy ghostwriter understands how to draft engaging content while implementing SEO to increase your business’ organic search results in major search engines, such as Google, Yahoo, and MSN, for example. Some of the top online sales materials your contract writer can undertake include:

  • Articles
  • Blogs
  • Newsletters
  • Press Releases
  • Social Media Snippets
  • Website Copy

Streamlined Business Operations

In your day-to-day business processes, each member of your team has a job to do. While delegating the task of writing to an administrative staff is certainly an option, the downside would be taking away their focus from regular duties. If you’re a one-person business, this gives you even more reason to delegate in order to focus on running the business. One alternative to a contract writer is a full-time in-house writer, however, the overheads are higher. The most economical choice, therefore, is a virtual writer.

First Impressions Count

Savvy online shoppers are quick to decipher which businesses are legitimate and trustworthy. How? The copy and design of your website can be compared to a brick-and-mortar storefront. If the design looks well-polished and the copy is free of grammatical errors, visitors are more likely to stay and browse your company’s offerings.

Engage More Customers

A ghostwriter perceives how your target audience thinks from a marketing perspective. In addition, these professionals deliver words that engage and prompt readers to take action. From the format of the copy to the best sentence structures to use, ghostwriters ultimately know what it takes to convert websites into an indispensable sales pipeline.

Become a Market Leader

Online marketing authorities recommend publishing fresh content that’s useful to current and potential customers. Over time, readers begin to trust your expertise and initiate the process of contacting your representatives for more information.

A Breakdown Of The Top Benefits

To summarize, a ghostwriter presents many advantages. The top benefits of hiring a business writer include:

  1. Hello there,

I wonder if freelance writer or edition is considered as ghostwriter. Anyways, to me, having a ghostwriter means the site owner outsource one the main tasks, which is site contents, to the external party. Well, that’s my understanding in defining the existence of ghostwriter. I think contents are what matters in drawing new visitors and maintain loyal visitors. Thanks for sharing the fundamentals of who ghostwriters are and what they do.

    • Thanks Tar, yes ghostwriting is getting someone to write for you 🙂

I have gotten content writers to help me at times on some of my blogs, it can really be so hard to keep content coming on a regular basis all on your own!

  2. Lynne your article was very helpful. I wouldn’t call myself a ghostwriter, but I definitely love to write and my husband utilizes me a lot on our websites for articles. Your article was very helpful and I agree 100% that good writing is crucial for attracting and keeping customers and traffic. Internet marketing is definitely here to stay, and I’m delighted to be a part of it! Aren’t you?

    • Thanks Dana, I am glad you the article. Yes I am excited to be working online and writing, I absolutely love it. I have found my dream job!

  3. I’m new at this, but I have several niche ideas that I’m trying to develop. A question occurred to me: At what point in the startup of a niche site should you get ghostwriter(s) involved…Should it be after you’ve started getting traffic or maybe it’s just a matter of when you have the money to invest. I’d love to hear what your experience tells you on this question.

    • James I would say it really depends on you and your business. Getting someone to write content for you on a constant basis when you first start out will be quite an expense. However getting someone to write content regularly for you from the start will mean that you will start getting traffic sooner.

It really does depend on your individual circumstances. My advice is that if you are able to, start hiring a content writer as soon as possible!
