Introduction: What is Experts Academy?

Experts Academy is a step by step guide that will show you how to become a millionaire online by creating information products that are based on your passions.

What is Experts Academy

On his website he has a free video called 10 Essentials which is a basics outline of the formula he teaches. So what is this formula that is causing all the hype?

Here is a very simplified version of it:

1 Choose a Subject

This should be something you enjoy and know something about.

Access free training on choosing a niche.

2 Stories

You will start by stories of your personal experiences.

3 Strategy

You will share a strategy with your audience, how to achieve their goals.

4 Create Products to Sell

This is where you will create products such as courses, dvds, seminars, eBooks or host Webinars

5 Sales Process

This is to create leads and gain trust so that you can sell products to your leads.

6 Social Presence

Create a hype around your products so that they get attention and are shared.

7 System and Structure

Build a website, get leads, make sales.

8 Self-Confidence

In order to sell to people you need to believe in yourself and have self-confidence

9 Self-Discipline

Starting an online business takes time, hard work and effort so you will need to work on self-discpline

10 Service Mindset

You need to remember that you are in the service industry. You are helping people solve a problem, always remember this.

In case you didn’t notice, this formula looks almost exactly the same as the Product Launch Formula by Jeff Walker which I will be reviewing soon.

The training and information provided by Experts Academy is great, Brendon Burchard is certainly an expert in his field and knows what he is talking about.

Who is Brendon Burchard?

Who is Brendon Burchard

Brendon Burchard has a good few accomplishments to his name, here is a short list of some of these accomplishments:

  • Author of #1 New York Best Seller The Millionaire Messenger
  • Books written include  The Millionaire Messenger, Life’s Golden Ticket, and the Charge
  • Star and Executive Producer of The Charged on youtube
  • He is one of the top 100 most followed public figures on Facebook

And of course he launched Experts Academy.

Pros and Cons

  • Brendon Burchard is likable, speaks from the heart and he really knows his stuff
  • It is clear that Brendon Burchard practices what he teaches
  • Solid training to create an online business
  • 30 day money back guarantee

  • This course is hugely expensive at $1997!
  • Not suitable for people that don’t want to create their own products
  • No free trial to really see what you are getting

Who is Experts Academy for?

This is suitable for someone that has a long term plan to build a profitable business online. Anyone who is willing to put in a huge amount of work initially to start their business, as well as a huge amount of money upfront for a course like this. I do believe a very good, solid business can be built with this method over time.

This is not for anyone that wants to make a little bit of extra income, the upfront costs are just too high for that.

Is Experts Academy a Scam or Legit?

Experts Academy is definitely legit. Brendon Burchard provides a great product here, with loads of value.

My Verdict for Experts Academy

Brendon Burchard really gives a great product here, although it is a bit limited in that he only teaches how to create a product and not how to make money in any other way.  The major downfall here is the price. Yes it is a great product but it is hugely overpriced for what you are receiving.

With a bit of time and dedication you can get your information off the internet for free. You can also find training programs that offer what he does and more for less money.

Are you tired of scams or working online for pennies? Check out my #1 Recommendation!

  1. Definitely not worth that much money. So many scams out there you really have to be careful. Who buys this BS? and I wonder how many people a year they suck in. Would be interesting to know. Great review, thanks for posting.

    • Hi Peter, pleasure! The thing is from what I understand this training is really good! Why not just sell it at a market related price?

  2. Thank you very much for the information. In fact, I had heard about Brendon and his program but I hadn’t researched a lot, to be honest. Your post is really helpful for me as now I am able to make an informed decision. Thanks a lot!

  3. Nearly $2K for a product like this definitely sounds a little steep to me. One thing that always strikes me about these programs is that if they are pitching you on it, they are also pitching other people. Doesn’t that mean that they are fueling your competition? I suppose it could be that if all of his students choose a different subject to promote that is not necessarily the case.

This is an interesting product. Thanks for writing the review.

    • Hi Christian. There is a lot of emphasis on choosing a niche that is your passion so I really think there wouldn’t be too much market saturation here or too much competition. So yes I would think most people would choose a completely different niche. However he is mainly focused on creating an information product which is kinda limiting. For me, I am keen rather on affiliate marketing where I don’t have to create a product at all! I do think this is great training but like you say who wants to pay $2000? Certainly not me!

  4. Nice review of Experts Academy. I actually hadn’t heard of this company before although I have heard of Brendon Burchard. The program actually sounds pretty good, but like you say, it’s very expensive at nearly $2000 to join and without any sort of free trial. I’m actually looking to create my own digital products, but I don’t think I’m prepared to pay out that kind of cash to learn how to do this. Thanks for the review.

    • Hey Darren, yeah it is a pity about the price. I would also have loved to have done his training myself.

If you want to learn how to start your own online business (not just focusing on digital products) check out Wealthy Affiliate. They are well priced and you can learn so much about any online business there!

  5. Hi,
Thank you so much for that really useful review. For sure Brendon is a famous guy and actually an expert in his field but I think preparing a product for sale needs a trusted website which will be gained by time, so creating a new website while preparing for that process will not make sense to me.
Thank you so much and best wishes,

    • Hi Kaveh, thanks for sharing your view. Yes I agree with you, having a trusted website will certainly help with making sales! I do agree with Brendon though, he does say that this business will take a while to set up so he is not promoting making money online fast!

  6. I quite like the sound of this guy and the direction he is opting to take his pupils in…but the price is really high! I mean I can get a second hand car for that!
Do you feel the quality of his education comes anywhere near the high entry fee? Are his teaching methods and tutorials really that advanced? Also, does he provide a website for your work?

    • Hi Chris, nope he just provides training no websites or anything to go with that. The training is top notch… but then again the training at Wealthy Affiliate is also brilliant and you will get websites and hosting there too. You can also get started for free!

So yes the training is great, but is it worth $2000? I’m not so sure about!

  7. hi Lynne!
Well I have to admit that the first thing I noticed too is the price. 1997$ is just outrageous. Even if Brendan Burchard is well known and knows what he is talking about, how can he possibly justify such a price??? What is so special about his product that one would want to pay nearly 2000$ for it? And if you do not want to sell products or have none to sell, then this also does not seem for you. I mean I agree that this seems totally legit but it targets a small audience.

    • Hi Emily, spot on! I don’t even know anyone that would spend that much on great training even if they had that money to throw away.

  8. I was expecting some kind of promoting for this overpriced product but there was a twist in the end. I agree with many others that there are so many scams out there, we don’t know who’s trustworthy anymore & some even grew tired of Online Marketing due to bad experience.

$2,000 for someone’s else experience isn’t that worth it especially if you have not tried & tested. Why not go to some free sites to pick up some free knowledge before venturing into these paid knowledge?

    Thanks for reviewing!

    • Hi Lee! You expected me to be promoting it? Lol yes I do promote things on my website, however I only rate things as awesome when I personally think they are awesome (like I would pay for them myself), not when I think I can make awesome commission. In fact the things I promote and rate highly are the things I actually use myself.

I would never buy this, not because I think it is an inferior product, but simply because I won’t pay this amount of money! I truly wish is was affordable because I would love to do Brendon’s training.

  9. Hi Lynne,

Even for people that want to have their own business, this price tag is just way to much. There are so many places for people to go to get a website up and running and some of those programs do help businesses with other advertising.

You are right that this is not for any one looking for an extra income. But it just doesn’t seem to be for anyone.

    • Hi Jessica

Yes this is crazy to pay $2000, the fact is that you can get these things done for free with some time, a lot of effort and research. I do recommend using a training platform simply so that you know exactly what to do and when, and support is also great to have… but $2000? Not a chance!

  10. Hey Lynne

Thanks for the lowdown on Experts Academy 🙂

I do really like the sound of the 10 essential lessons to making money online. But I’m not fond of the high cost to get started or even interested in building my own products.

I would much prefer to become an affiliate marketer, and your #1 recommendation sounds perfect for me.

    Thanks for the review.

    • Hi Neil

Yes the price is just ridiculous, so it doesn’t really matter what the product is, it is not worth it.

  11. Hi Lynne,

I’ve heard of Brendon alright but I didn’t know he actually run an online course AND boy, that’s expensive!!! For that amount of money, I can pay for my membership at Wealthy Affiliate training for 5 years – education, website hosting and community support.

I am sure he’s a nice guy but I think using the millionaire tagline can be a bit misleading. People might be drawn to get rich quick online and that’s already a wrong mindset to start with. Creating a successful online business takes time and effort. If you are not willing to endure that, you can’t expect to be a millionaire.

    • Hi Cathy

Exactly! That is a huge amount of money to charge and it immediately makes me suspicious. I am also not fond of people throwing around the millionaire promise either.

  12. Hi Lynne, thanks for the review of Experts Acedemy. I agree with you, a great product, but not for everyone, especially not for beginners. You don’t launch products as a newbie. Kim Rauch is another expert in this field for way less money. At $2000 you can just as well go higher and get a mentor to teach you the ropes.

    • Hi Henning

Yes, if you’ve got $2000 to invest I am sure you can do a lot more with it than this program!
