   I have bookmarked your page because I like informing myself about what are legitimate business opportunities and which ones are not.

   I am glad I came across a platform that you actually recommend. I did further research on all the great online business opportunities and they all seem legit. All of these companies how step by step how to make money online, with affiliate marketing being the main focus. With that said you don’t need any previous experience to become successful in the Internet World. Thank you for sharing!

     It is a pleasure, I am just sad I couldn’t find any more great opportunities to share with everyone. It is so sad the ratio of scams and BS to anything that even comes close to being legitimate and helpful when it comes to making money online.

   Thanks for a post well written and things so well explained, l like the fact that you do not only combine in 1 post programmes that work but you have also put programmes that does not work.
   Some of the programmes l have heard about, some are new to me and some took my money with no results whatsoever.
   l did surveys when l got started online, they take so much time and pay so little.So im happy to see you put the word “pocket money”for surveys because with surveys what you get is pocket money.
   You have explained everything from beginner to more experienced marketer looking to improve.

     Yes that is right, lots of the opportunities is just pocket money. Which is nice but I found a lot of sites made it seem like you can make a lot more and this is impossible!

4. Great summary and overview. There is a lot of content here and content is what brings traffic. Lots of good advice. Wealthy Affiliate truly stands out from the crowd. There just isn’t another community that can even come close to matching what WA offers.

   I agree that MLM is not the best path to take. With MLM it’s usually just the people on top that make any money of significance. I tried some MLM programs a few years back, and all that happened was I ruined some important relationships with family and friends. It’s nice to have money, however, not at the expense of losing family and friends.

   Shopify looks interesting. I’ll have to check out your article on Shopify. I’m aware of Shopify, I just haven’t ever used it.

   • Sorry to hear about the relationships that suffered with you trying out MLM, it seems that is exactly what it does!

     I’ve done a lot of investigating when it comes to Shopify and they truly come out tops. I personally know 2 people that have online stores through Shopify and they are very happy. I will probably be using Shopify towards the end of this year too! I will obviously have to update and add in my personal experience then.

5. Small business online is no small business.Goes into detail of every aspect of the WA Membership

   Shows the differences in membership levels and what
   you get with each. And with any business you need to be dedicated and put in a lot of hard work. The more you put in the more you get out.

   I wanted to ask with the E Mail marketing could you use a G Mail for Business it has an Auto Responder ?

   • Yes you are right there, it is not so small, but opposed to a massive international retail or wholesale business it is small.

     I am sure you would be able to use a gmail email address, that is not something I have ever considered. I will check with aWeber and come back to you.

     My question to you is why not get a business email address? With Wealthy Affiliate it is so easy to set up if that is where you are going to build your website. A gmail address is just so unprofessional, it will make the world of difference to have a nice email address!

   There are so many ways to make money in 2015 and 2016. The internet does give us the ability to do just what we want. Your lists about the legit companies and scams are very accurate.

   From all of the companies that you have listed, I would go for Wealthy Affiliate because of their training. They also give you all the tools that you need in order to succeed.

10. Thanks Lynne for your collection of great posts. You have gathered so much information into one helpful article. So much of this information is critically helpful for a new online marketer starting out. If you had to offer just one piece of advice to the “newbie”, what would it be?

    • Hi David, wow just one piece of advice? There is so much I would want to share though!

      I would think that the most important thing is that working online takes time, hard work and lots of learning all the time… so don’t chase after all those autopilot, make money overnight BS offers.

13. I think I just found a way to make some online money. I feel like I just graduated a course on web sites and marketing. The way you have left all of the links in order made it very easy to navigate. I will be visiting many of the sites you have listed. Your direction of working with Wealthy Affiliate and following their step by step tutorials is a great idea however I will be using your site as a reference as well.
