Introduction:  What is 25 Dollar Legacy all about?

25 Dollar Legacy is a multi level marketing company that provides social media tools. It is a brand new website, the domain was only registered on the 10th March 2016 by Ramon Escalera. I did a quick Google search for him and there isn’t much on him at all. On the bright of this he is not one of those serial scammers that just keep popping up again with new websites.

What is 25 Dollar Legacy

If you follow my posts regularly you will know I am not a fan of MLM at all. The way I see MLM is it is just a way to disguise a pyramid scheme with some lame, overpriced product. I will however try and be open minded and nice while writing this review. Contrary to what some people think I don’t actually like slamming other businesses.

So let’s have a look at these social media tools that 25 Dollar Legacy is providing!

25 Dollar Legacy Social Media Tools

I’ll be honest here I am not impressed at all with these tools and their pricing.

I have recently written a post on a great website that offers social media tools that has really impressed me no end and they offer so much more for just $9.95/ month and there is a 5 day free trial too so you can check it out and see if you like it first. This is an incredibly powers tool, I am currently using it and it is the best I have come across so far.

There is also Buffer that offers a free membership for one profile on 4 social media platforms. They have paid memberships that offer loads more, plus you can try the paid membership for free for the first month. I love Buffer and I was using them for 3 years on the $10/ month awesome plan. I have to say I had no complaints ever. I only switched to Mass Planner recently because it is such a powerful tool that gives me so much more for basically the same price.

Buffer social media

Have a look at Hootsuite too. I have never tried them, but their reputation is excellent. I know lots of people that use Hootsuite and they rave about them. They also have a free account and if you want to upgrade there is a free trial to try before you buy.

Hootsuite social media tools

So what you can really see here is what is just to typical with all the MLM opportunities I have come across. They are offering a completely inferior product at a massively inflated price.  The fact is that anyone that knows anything about internet marketing and will need to make use of such a tool can just make use of Buffer or Hootsuite for free instead.

So here is a screenshot of 25 Dollar Legacy’s Mission Statement claiming they want to become the leading provider in the industry. They sure do have a long way to go.

25 Dollar Legacy Mission Statement

So let’s go inside and have a look… ok so you can’t earn anything until you have bought each product in that category. Typical MLM and something I am not fond of. This means to promote their products you can to buy their products.

25 Dollar Legacy a peek inside

So let’s go and have a look at the site banners and see how we can promote these social media tools…. are you surprised? There is not one banner to promote the social media tools, in fact the social media tools are not even mentioned.

This is because in my opinion MLM opportunities have nothing to do with products. The product is YOU. The product is recruiting people into the system.

25 Dollar Legacy Pros and Cons

  • At least there really is a product, unlike Phoenix Power Rising that I recently reviewed where I literally couldn’t find one.
  • The banners are professional… have you seen the tacky banners some MLM’s use?

  • It is typical MLM which I find a big con
  • The products will be almost impossible to sell to anyone
  • There are no promotional items for the products, only the MLM opportunity
  • You have to pay to be able to market their product and their opportunity
  • There are no refunds at all if you are unhappy with what you get

Who is this suitable for?

If you love MLM and you can sell ice to an eskimo… well sure then give it a go, why not?

Training/ Tools Overview

Other than a couple of links and banners I couldn’t find anything helpful on the website. Perhaps if you start paying a training center magically appears… with the missing banners for the products? I’m not wasting $25 to find out!

There is a support form and an FAQ page.

Is 25 Dollar Legacy a Scam?

No I don’t think so…. but it is MLM which I consider to always be skimming along that invisible line.

My Verdict for 25 Dollar Legacy

I don’t recommend this at all. This is set up really badly. MLM is not easy as it is, but at least some MLM companies give you a fighting chance with their training,, support and promotional materials.

With this one you will struggle to explain to anyone how it is NOT a pyramid scheme. I struggle to see how this is not a pyramid scheme.

You will be paying money every month and I don’t think you will ever see a return on that.

The only thing I liked about this was the good looking car in the banner. I like that car. I want a car like that one day.

See I said something nice about them!

If you want to make money promoting social media tools you can contact Hootsuite and Mass Planner and sign up as an affiliate with them. (Buffer doesn’t have an affiliate program yet, but they are working on it.)This will cost you nothing. They will provide you with great promotional tools and if anyone you refer to them starts using one of those tools you will earn commission.

Is affiliate marketing not a much better (and safer) option to make money online? Why should you have to buy a product to have the honor of promoting it? Search online for affiliate programs in any niche and you will find loads.

You can be an independent sales rep for loads of businesses if you want to. Think about how much fun you can have!

  1. Hello Lynne
What can one say about 25 dollar legacy that you haven’t already – A scam? Perhaps borderline because what a lot of money for a lot of crap! My grandson could put a better program together and he’s only 14.
I’m thinking this guy is really your ordinary guy on the street who has taken it into his head that if the big guys can do it and get away with it then he can as well.
I will not be taking him up on his initial offer and I certainly wont be recommending his program to my friends.
    Have an excellent day Lynne.

    • Hi Robert Allan

I can’t help thinking maybe he is just the person that registered the domain and is the face of it, but that there are other people behind the scenes of 25 Dollar Legacy…. Just a hunch!

  2. The main thing I noticed about this site about a month back is there is no detialed info website or domain so you have no real idea who is running things overall! I was also surprised to see that they have no retail products and services – the affiliate setup is to promote the program itself…not a good sign!

    • Hey Chris

Exactly, they are not even bothering to disguise it with some promotional material for the products!

  3. I like free trials as it tells me the seller has confidence in their product.

Many of these MLM companies take advantage of people that are new to internet marketing and promise them the world.

I want to know what the heck i am getting into before i buy the product and if I can’t I am gone.

I don’t want to be the product do you? It’s about talking friends and family into it before we even know what we are doing. It may not be a scam but it sure is misleading.

Have you read about the 70% law and pyramid scheme law? This law will probably apply here

I think I will take my $25 and take my daughter out to eat. Thanks for the heads up.

    • Hi Barry

Oh yes that is $25 better spent and a much better idea. No I don’t know the exact law when it comes to pyramid schemes, that might be something interesting for me to check out so I can include reference to that in my posts.
